Hi, this is Willy, the old dog from Satdobato. My life took an unexpected turn one fateful day, and now, I have a story to share with you. I was just trying to find a peaceful place to rest, but little did I know, my search for comfort would lead me into danger. I ended up jumping into an open well, and before I realized what was happening, I found myself trapped, gasping for air. My age made everything worse; I couldn’t breathe properly, and my energy was running out.

I tried to scream, to call for help, but my body was too weak. I thought my time was running out. I was terrified, but then, like an angel, a person saw me and quickly called Sneha’s Care. It felt like my last chance for survival.

When they arrived, two men climbed down into the well, carefully and bravely. They wrapped me in a soft blanket, held me in their arms, and slowly carried me out of that dark, cold place. They warmed me with a fire, and their kindness was the beginning of my healing.

That life-changing rescue took place on September 13, 2024, and since then, I’ve found a safe place in the shelter. I walk among the other dogs, but I don’t have the same energy I used to have. Age has taken a toll on me, and I’ve developed a neurological issue that causes my head to tilt. It’s a bit uncomfortable, but I’ve learned to live with it.

I might be old and slower now, but I still enjoy being touched. However, I’m sensitive, and sometimes sudden movements startle me. So, please, if you want to give me some love, just let me know first, and I’ll happily accept it. My life has changed, and I feel blessed to be surrounded by people who care for me.
