The COVID-19 pandemic had negative effects on community dogs in Nepal. Community dogs were threatened and malnourished as a result of the food crisis brought on by curfews and closed restaurants and stores throughout the lockdown, which served as the main source of food for many community animals. Sneha’s Care provided regular food for community dogs in order to ensure their supply even during periods of the coronavirus. This activity of feeding was not only limited to dogs but also to monkeys, cats, birds, and other abandoned farm animals like cows, buffaloes, and young calves. Disaster feeding’s objectives include not just providing for immediate food needs but also raising public awareness of the importance of feeding community animals.
