Sneha’s Care stands as a beacon of hope, a not-for-profit sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and nurturing a diverse range of animals in Kathmandu. With over 180 dogs and a multitude of cats, pigs, buffalo, cows, and goats, each one saved from the streets or from horrendous acts of cruelty, our sanctuary offers refuge and rehabilitation.

During your visit, fully immerse in the sanctuary life, engage in hands-on interactions with our animals and hearing their inspiring stories. On the other hand, indulge in a delectable local meal included in your meal afterwards. Enjoy the convenience of pick-up and drop-off from any Kathmandu hotel.

The day trip spans 4.5-5 hours, including travel time. The tour is in English (Nepalese is also an option).

Your itinerary:

•  9:30 am: Begin your journey with a private transfer from your hotel in Kathmandu to Sneha’s Care.
•  10:00 am: Meet our beloved animals as soon as you arrive. Learn about their remarkable journeys and explore the sanctuary premises.
•  10:45 am: Similarly, you can dive into volunteering activities that matches your best interests and our sanctuary’s needs. Whether it’s portioning food, creating enrichment activities, or simply spending quality time with the dogs and farm animals, there’s something for everyone.
•  12:00 pm: Savour a delightful Nepalese lunch, featuring a variety of vegan dishes like curries, roti, and momos. You’ll get to choose from a menu.
•  1:00 pm: Bid farewell to your new found furry friends, capturing lasting memories and spreading awareness through photos.
•  1:30 pm: In conclusion, you can wrap up and get ready to get back to your hotel.

In addition, for groups of 4 or more, private day visits can be arranged upon request.

Additional details:

• Attire: Please wear comfortable, loose clothing and closed-in sports shoes. Also, don’t forget to bring water and umbrella.
• Supervision: Children under 16 must be closely supervised and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Cancellation Policy: Kindly notify us at least 36 hours prior to your visit for a full refund.
