Rumi
Hello, I hope you’re not scared of my looks. I have been like this for a long time, and it’s not easy for me to trust people. They say I’ve been suffering from a skin infection, and I’m still learning to accept the kindness of others. Sometimes, I’m unsure if your extended hand is for love or harm, as my past has been filled with trauma.
When I was wandering the streets of Imadole, my skin was exposed, and my body was starving, leaving me weak and frail. People didn’t see me as a living being; they called me dirty and disgusting, shooing me away without a second thought. I ran from place to place, feeling so alone and abandoned.
But on April 19, 2017, everything changed. That’s the day I was rescued and brought to a loving place, Sneha’s Care. Since then, I’ve been receiving the care and love I always needed. My infection was really severe, and they say my hair follicles have been destroyed, so my coat isn’t like it used to be. I’m also getting a bit old now, but that doesn’t stop me from living life one step at a time.
I feel truly grateful to have a godparent who prays for me and takes care of all my needs. They’ve been my pillar of support through all of this, and I’m thankful for the love I now receive. If you’re willing, I’d love to receive some love and care from you too.
