Bhanu
“Hi, I’m Bhanu! Lovely meeting you! (barks at other dogs approaching you) I love you. Hehe. Hey, do you also think I look like a fox? I get that a lot!”
I used to be a small, friendly community dog living just above the shelter, surrounded by familiar humans. Life was simple, and I was happy. But one day, curiosity got the best of me, I decided to explore a new area.
I didn’t know the dangers of entering a different community, and I definitely didn’t understand the risks of fast-moving vehicles. As I wandered, something startled me. I jumped back without thinking, right under the tire of a moving vehicle.
The pain was instant and unbearable. My jaw took the full impact, cracking under the weight of the tire. Blood poured from my mouth, and I ran in shock, trying to escape the pain. I didn’t know what to do or where to go.
But fate had other plans for me. Someone saw me at that moment and immediately called Sneha’s Care for help. My rescuers were heartbroken when they found me, after all, they had seen me every day, waving hello and goodbye on their way to and from work. And now, here I was, broken and in pain.
They rushed me in their arms, and I received all the necessary treatments and surgeries. I’m still healing, but I feel so much better. I love to roam around and play, even though breathing can be tough and sleeping comfortably is a challenge. But despite everything, I’m happy, and I’m looking forward to the day I’m completely healed.
Would you like to be a part of my journey?
