Happy
Hey there, it’s Happy…and trust me, I live up to my name most of the time! Well, except when other doggos are around. I’m a bit of a lone wolf at times, but I do love getting scratches and pets. If I don’t get enough, I’ll even give a little nib to remind you how much I enjoy them!
It’s heartbreaking that there are people out there who can be so cruel, hitting animals and leaving them behind without a second thought. My life took a painful turn in 2016 when I was the victim of a hit-and-run. The impact left me with severe injuries, and it was so violent that it left the lower part of my body paralyzed. The pain was unbearable, and it seemed like the road ahead would be impossible.
Eventually, my hind limbs had to be amputated to save my life, but that didn’t stop me. I’m a survivor! I learned how to walk and even run on just my two front legs. It hasn’t been easy, but every day is a victory.
I want to share my story with everyone to show how resilient I am and how important it is to be kind to animals. I hope it inspires others to be more considerate toward those of us living on the streets. So, if you ever need a reminder of what true strength and survival look like, I’m your guy! You’ll see me walking proud with a big smile on my face, no matter the challenges I’ve faced.
