Harke

Woof… Harke here. I prefer to stay out of the spotlight, more like a shadow, quietly keeping to myself. I get easily overwhelmed by people, so I find peace in quiet corners where I can feel safe.

My journey began on August 29, 2017, when I collapsed on the roadside of Tikathali. For days, I had been starving and enduring mistreatment, leaving me weak and helpless. Just when I thought I couldn’t go on, a vehicle sped by and struck my legs. They were shattered, and as my vision blurred, it felt like the world had forgotten me. But I held on, hoping someone would notice my suffering and give me a chance at a better life.

I’m so grateful I held on, because that’s when I found one of the best lives here at Sneha’s Care. I love my solitude, but don’t mistake it for sadness. I’m happy here, one leg less, but with a heart full of gratitude. And knowing I have a godparent who cares for me and prays for me makes it even more special.
