Community Based Health Care
Sickness and ill-health being indirectly proportionate to holistic development, it will be unbecoming to overrule importance of health and its implications. It is against this background that the long term and/or terminal illness invite irresistible attention. Persons living with such kind of illness (henceforth the suffering) and their dear ones (henceforth the affected) suffer from physical, psychological, social and economic problems. Even a single degree of diversion from this fact of life and paradox of God’s Love will only stamp anyone inhuman! Greater are the existential orientation and ‘essential’ responsibility of every Christian in this regard. This being the fact, we, the Camillians have an irresistible vocation to humanize, Christianize and Camillianize the society in positively responding to suffering, illness and to the issues in health and healthcare! Upon this matrix have we visualized, planned and are willing to live this ministry. |
